Components of the NYSESLAT STATE EXAM
How parents can support their child taking the test

All students in Kindergarten through grade 12 who receive English as a New Language (ENL) Services take the New York State English as a Second Language Achievement Test (NYSESLAT) every year to determine how well they are learning English. Your child is scheduled to take this test in April/May.
In this workshop, parents will learn the components of the NYSESLAT test, how the results are used, and how to help your child succeed.

Friday, February 16th- Freaky Friday-! Students will dress like their teachers and teachers will dress like their students.

For $5 EACH, spread the love by sending a personalized candy gram to a classmate, sibling, or staff member. Each candy gram will contain:
(1) 4.7” teddy bear, (2) heart-shaped lollipops, and (1) themed pencil.

Fill out the contact information on the order form and the candy gram messages you wish to send, and return with cash or check in an envelope addressed to PTA OF P.S. 2.

There was a reported systemwide error with the DOE's system this morning. The city is working on correcting this error. Please try logging into your child's class via Google Classroom App or classroom.google.com with their DOE email and password. TeachHub is reported to be up and running again as well SLOWLY, but try the Google links first.
