MoMA Family Programs in November!

Join Heyman Family Programs at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) for free programs and activities. In addition to the programs listed below, families can explore art using free audio guides for kids, kids labels, an activity guide, available in English and Spanish.

Family Storytime 

Wednesday, Nov 6, 13, 20, 10:30–11 a.m.

Join us for a dynamic story time as we listen to artful tales that get us thinking, talking, moving, and creating. Free! Recommended for kids ages two and up and their adult companions.

 

The Heyman Family Art Lab  

Daily, 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Visit the newest installation of Art Lab opening on November 25. Listen, explore, play, and move in an interactive space for families. What will you create with sound? All ages are welcome. Free with museum admission. 



Teen Programs

 

MoMA Teen Programs provide New York City teens with the opportunity to explore art making, engage with the contemporary art world and artists, and connect with other teens from across the city. MoMA Teens offers a variety of unique and free hands-on, drop-in studio art courses and behind-the-scenes, internship-like programs. School Programs

 

Book a guided or unguided Museum visit to develop students’ critical thinking and to make connections with their own lives. Free for all NYC Department of Education groups. For questions, email MoMA’s Groups and Tours or call (212) 708-9685.  

 

Access Programs

 

Everyone is welcome at MoMA. We offer a variety of free programs to increase the accessibility of the Museum. Create Ability is a free monthly program welcoming kids, teens, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with their families and friends, to explore works on view and create artwork together. In each session, participants focus on a different theme during interactive activities in the Museum's galleries and classrooms.
